Boston Market’s commitment to your safety…

Dear Valued Boston Market Guest:

As always, the health and safety of the communities we serve, our guests and our team members are of utmost importance to us. With the concern about COVID-19, I wanted to share with you our usual routines and high standards, as well as the additional steps we have taken to further prevent the spread of illness or contamination.

Gloves: Employees are required to wear gloves at all times. Gloves are changed often during shifts to reduce any risk of cross contamination.

Face Covering:   Employees have been provided face coverings and are required to cover their nose and mouth at all times.

Hand-washing: In addition to wearing gloves, our employees are required to wash their hands throughout the day and between switching gloves.

Cleanliness: We always strive to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and food safety. We have increased the frequency of disinfecting the restaurant including door handles and all contact surfaces. In addition to cleaning, utensils used to prepare and serve food are changed frequently throughout the day.

Social Distancing:  We practice the recommended social distancing of 6 feet. Door signs are posted at all entrance/exits notifying the guest of this practice.  Social distancing blue tape is placed in service areas to help maintain this standard.

Preventive Measures: To further prevent illness or contamination, we have removed all cups, straws, salt and pepper shakers, condiment bottles, and lemons from our dining areas. We will provide these items to our guests upon request.

Employee Health: All employees are verbally screened when reporting to work, and sent home if they show any symptoms of illness.   Employees are required to follow CDC recommended actions including staying home if they feel sick.  Any employee showing symptoms of COVID-19 are taken out of work and told to self-quarantine for 14 days. After that time, if they are symptom free more than 24 hours, they are able to return to work.

Guest Choice:  We offer a variety of options for our guests to get their meals, including delivery through Bostonmarket.com, our app and all major delivery services.   We also offer curbside pick-up and drive-thru in many of our locations.

We will continue to follow updates and recommendations suggested by the CDC, local Departments of Public Health, and the World Health Organization to ensure a safe environment for our guests and employees alike.

I’m so proud of our teams in restaurant, as together we have overcome many challenges to make sure that we continue to operate in a way that is safe and accessible to our guests.    We will continue to make the health and safety of our guests and our teams our first priority.   And more than ever, we appreciate your business during these challenging times, and thank you for your continued support.
